seasonal sparring
There seemed to be a little sparring going on between Lexus and Acura this holiday season. Lexus with their seasonal give a Lexus as a gift campaign and Acura attempting to accuse them of pretension, with the modern house in the middle of it.

Movie "Orphan" depicts modern house
The setting for the movie Orphan is a modern house, a bit implausible as its the home of an architect with a young family and I can attest to the fact that young architects with familys very rarely get to live in a large self designed custom house like this. Verizon stiffs the cable guy
A verizon ad hawking their video service mocks a cable guy going door to door. He’s calling on a person with a handsome modern house, or at least as much as we can tell from the front door. Have to come up with a video embed.

Target ad, party shed
Just saw a Target ad that showed a bunch of hipsters having a swinging time in a glass walled shed roofed house, or shed. Set at night, end scene pulls away to the place glowing like a lantern. Have to hunt that down - any help?
update: the ad shows them playing a Wii dance game.
T-Mobile modern again
T-Mobile has another commercial set in a modern house, an older couple talking about changing cell phone service from ATT to T-Mobile, and he hates change. May be better known as the Steve the bulldog commercial. Let us know if you spot it on YouTube. Looking for an embed.
